The term "direct areas" is used in industry to describe production areas in which the manufacturing process or product quality can be directly influenced. These are, for example, production lines and systems in which materials are processed, machined or assembled to manufacture finished products. Direct areas are usually closely linked to core production. To ensure efficient and high-quality production, they must be carefully controlled.
