Explanation: Articulated robots

An “articulated robot” is an industrial robot with a mechanical structure consisting of several segments connected by joints. These make movements in several degrees of freedom possible, so that the robot is highly flexible and precise in its positioning. These robots perform or support tasks such as welding, assembly, painting, or palletizing. They are characterized by their versatility and adaptability to different industrial fields of application.
