Explanation: Climate neutrality

The term “climate neutrality” describes the state in which the net emissions of greenhouse gases from human activities are reduced to zero. This requires that the amount of greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere is offset by various measures. These include emission reductions, compensation through CO2 storage or the use of renewable energy sources.
