Werner Baier

Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Werner Baier has served as chairman of the Supervisory Board of ROI Management Consulting AG since 2006.

Mr Baier is the great-grandson of Wilhelm Baier, founder of the family-run company Webasto SE. He studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Vienna and received an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. He joined Webasto in 1970, becoming managing director in 1975 and then taking over as chairman of the Management Board in 1986. He retired from daily management of the company in 1995 to become chairman of the Supervisory Board.

In 2002 Werner Baier was awarded the Order of Merit (Cross) of the Federal Republic of Germany and in 2011 the Bavarian Order of Merit for his business and charitable work (establishing the Webasto Foundation, fostering school projects in Latin America and other places).
